The history of Lindsay Pimentel Hand to Shoulder Rehab is a story rich in miracles. Established in 1998, this family-owned practice embarked upon a journey to bring high-quality hand therapy to the Central Valley. Lindsay and her husband Jorge, who transplanted from South Africa in 1994, are committed to creating a warm and personable atmosphere for the patients.
The staff are an extension of Lindsay’s heart and help fulfill her mission to provide a high standard of quality care and serve her patients with excellence. Each team member brings a level of expertise to the clinic’s specialty services which include: treating Hand, Elbow, Shoulder and Cervical Spine injuries, Orthosis fabrication and management, Lymphedema management, Massage therapy, Functional Capacity Evaluations and Work hardening.

At the center of the practice is the clinic’s founder, Lindsay Pimentel. Established in 1998, this family-owned practice embarked upon a journey to bring high-quality hand therapy to the Central Valley. Lindsay and her husband Jorge, who transplanted from South Africa in 1994, are committed to creating a warm and personable atmosphere for the patients.
After graduating in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Pretoria in South Africa, Lindsay continued her training as a CHT (Certified Hand Therapist – 2001) and later as a CWCE (Certified Work Capacity Evaluator – 2004) and a CEAS II (Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist – 2007).
Despite her ambitions as a business owner, it is Lindsay’s heart that drives her success. The care and recovery of hurting people is her first calling. Because it is more than a business, the Pimentel family chooses only the very best staff to work alongside them in their mission. Together, this family-owned practice is able to effectively serve its clients: to love their patients, see them recover, and restore them with a sense of hope and wellbeing.
